This modern Fijian Grammar has been prepared after a detailed and extensive study in Fiji by a trained liguistic. The book was examined by the Late Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, who not only checked or amended the text in the interests of accuracy but suggested the addition of many points explanatory of Fijian custom, which is so closely related to the language.
